Should You Spy On Your Nanny Or Babysitter?
There is much debate as to whether or not parents have a right to watch those whom they have hired to watch their kids. Some people argue that it is wrong to do it since you may be invading that person’s right. However, recent videos being posted all over the Internet showing babysitters or nannies hitting, shaking and mistreating the children they were left to protect have made many out there change their minds. I believe as a parent that you not only have a right to watch anyone you may have hired to watch and babysit your kids, but an obligation. This can be argued even more when the children you are leaving in someone’s care are very young. The reason for that is that the younger the child left in the hands of another person, the less capable they are of protecting themselves. Therefore it is a parent’s obligation to make sure nothing happens to their child while in the hands of another person.
The recent advances in technology have allowed for many ingenious ways for parents looking into monitoring their kids and sitter to do so covertly. There are now “nanny cams” which come in the form of clocks, books, plants and even innocent looking teddy bears. They have also become way more affordable as the technology keeps improving. It is no longer just for the rich and famous to be able to afford such gadgets and necessities.
Having a security surveillance camera can have many positive results. You can go to work feeling safer, at ease and more secure knowing that not only are you able to keep an eye on your kids and nanny, but that they are protected as well. Many of these surveillance systems also work as a home security system which will allow you to resolve and eliminate security issues related to your home and family. A surveillance security system will also allow you to sleep better each night. Some of these surveillance nanny cams can even be accessed from a remote location which means you can keep an eye on your home, kids and family even while you are far away in another country or state.
